"Red Bird" Cheyenne Indian
People from long ago, once thought “Indians” from the American Northern Plains or anywhere within the undeclared U.S. were savages. They portrayed a lack of manners and civilization that was considered indecent and deplorable. The “whites” barely considered the Indians human. If the white man would stop and simply observe, like the interested observers of today, he would see there is more to the Indians than what appears. He would see the true people of the Cheyenne Tribe. He would see the beautiful ceremonies and rituals that are performed yearly and the unique structured form of government of 44 chiefs to the bountiful land of buffaloes in which the Cheyenne Indians hunt. He would see a rich culture with laws, order, and societies of it’s own. All the casual observer has to do is look and open themselves to the ancient and present world of the Cheyenne Indians. We have provided that here at AnthroCheyenne.BlogSpot.com
